We process personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website, our content, and services. Processing is based on the GDPR, in particular Art. 6(1)(a) (consent), Art. 6(1)(b) (performance of contract), and Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interests).

Your personal data will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose for storage no longer applies, unless legal retention obligations exist.


3. Hosting

Our website is hosted on servers of a European hosting provider.
All data processed via this website is stored exclusively in the EU.

Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR forms the legal basis for hosting.


4. Server Log Files

When visiting our website, the following data is automatically collected and stored in server log files:

  • Browser type and version

  • Operating system used

  • Referrer URL

  • Hostname of the accessing computer

  • Date and time of the server request

  • IP address

Processing is necessary for website delivery and security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Log files are deleted automatically after a short retention period.


5. Cookies & Consent (Complianz CMP)

We use the Complianz Consent Management Platform to obtain legally required user consent for cookies and third-party services.

6. Google Services via Site Kit

Our website uses Google Site Kit to integrate various Google services.
Depending on your configuration in Site Kit, the following may apply:

6.1. Google Analytics (if enabled)

If Google Analytics is enabled, we process:

  • IP address (anonymized)

  • Device and browser information

  • Page views and interactions

We use IP anonymization so Google truncates your IP within the EU.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — consent through the CMP.

Data may be transferred to the USA under standard contractual clauses.

6.2. Google Search Console / PageSpeed Insights

These services only analyze website performance and do not process personal data of website visitors.


7. Google Fonts (self-hosted)

We use self-hosted Google Fonts.
This means:

  • No connection to Google servers

  • No transfer of personal data to third parties

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a consistent website appearance).


8. Contact Form (Contact Form 7)

If you contact us via form, the following data may be processed:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Message content

Data is processed only to answer your inquiry.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual request).

We do not store form submissions in the WordPress backend.


9. Social Media Embeds (Instagram)

We embed Instagram content on our site.

When viewing a page with embedded content, Instagram may collect:

  • Browser details

  • Interaction data

This occurs only after consent via the cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Instagram is operated by:
Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., Dublin, Ireland.

Data may be transferred to the USA under SCCs.
